Ce patrimoine historique commun influencera les relations entre les deux pays \u00e0 partir des ind\u00e9pendances avec l\u2019\u00e9tablissement des relations diplomatiques d\u00e8s cet instant et le partage d\u2019espaces \u00e9conomiques et politiques tels que le CILSS, l\u2019UEMOA, l\u2019UA.<\/p><p>Cinq (05) Commissions mixtes de Coop\u00e9ration ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tenues entre le Burkina Faso et la R\u00e9publique du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal. La premi\u00e8re s\u2019est tenue le 8 avril 1999 \u00e0 Dakar, la deuxi\u00e8me le 29 juillet 2002 \u00e0 Ouagadougou, la troisi\u00e8me les 7 et 8 juillet 2011 \u00e0 Dakar, la quatri\u00e8me les 19 et 20 mars 2014 \u00e0 Ouagadougou et la cinqui\u00e8me les 10 et 11 octobre 2019 \u00e0 Dakar.
